MIGRATIONPRESSURE is the attempt to release some pressure that we are facing due to the system. We are all affected by it in very different ways. We are migrants, postmigrants, refugees, white Germans. Facing the differences is important, realizing your own privileges, making them visible and creating powerful bonds. In order not to be pushed down by the pressure. In order to leave no one behind. In order to care for each other, to listen, to speak up, to feel connected. Lets be a strong respond to the politics that try to tear us apart.
//

Today, this struggle in Balochistan is carried forward by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) a women-led, grassroots, anti-colonial, and anti-fascist movement. The BYC has become a voice for thousands of Baloch families whose loved ones have been forcibly disappeared, tortured, or killed by the state. Its leadership is composed of courageous women who refuse to bow to fear, who take to the streets demanding justice, dignity, and freedom for their people.
In December 2023, mass protests erupted across Balochistan against decades of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, Genocide and systemic oppression. This uprising gave rise to a historic protest march: over 1,600 km on foot from Turbat to Islamabad. Along the way, the protesters were met with harassment, threats, and state violence yet they continued. In Islamabad, a permanent protest camp was established, where families of the disappeared, activists, and supporters have gathered to break the silence and demand accountability.
This movement, unprecedented in scale and led entirely by women, has shaken the foundations of Pakistan’s military establishment. And for that reason, the state has struck back. For more than three months now, the leadership of the BYC – including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Beebow, Bebager, Gulzafi, Shah G and other key organizers have been imprisoned without trial. Their only “crime” is peacefully demanding justice, raising their voices against colonial violence, and refusing to let the world forget Balochistan’s suffering.
This is not just a local struggle. It is part of a wider global fight against neo-colonialism, patriarchy, militarism, and fascism. The Baloch movement is a frontline in the struggle for freedom, dignity, and justice.
Stand with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee. Stand with women resisting colonial violence. Stand with Balochistan.
Another world is possible – but only if we fight for it together.
