Multiinstrumentalist Georg Brenner und Schlagzeuger Jan P hilipp Janzen schlagen neun Tracks lang eine Fährte durch das Referenzgew usel (siehe an dieser Stelle auch die Covercollage aus Fliesenkatalog\, Re tro-Serviervorschlag und Archäologielehrbuch)\, die beim Zuhören ein woh liges Gefühl von Mitgenommenwerden erzeugt - bei aller Verweigerung einer klaren musikalischen Kategorisierung der Band. \n\nSo rollt etwa der Open er Abacus mit Drum Machine und kleinen Schnörkeln in der Gitarre los und verweist schon im Titel auf eine Verwurzelung im mechanisch voranklickernd en Motorik-Sound des Krautrock der ersten Generation. Sodann wird ein erst er Haken geschlagen und der Track zu einem groovenden Jam mit zunehmend di chterem Sound\, jaulenden Gitarren und dem bandtypischen Gesang aus kurzen Phrasen\, der mitunter an 90er-Noiserock erinnert. Als nächstes Objekt a m Wegesrand erscheint eine Waschmaschine\, hier manifestiert in Form einer Schichtung breiter Synthiesounds\, ausbrechender Drums\, verzerrter Gitar ren und einem in stakkatohaftem Husten endenden Gesang als rüttelnder und schüttelnder Trip in einen Kosmos aus sich verselbstständigender Maschi nerie und wohltuender Umarmung des Unperfekten. So wandlungsfähig geht es weiter\, mal in Form von leierndem Retrofuturismus (Fame & Fortune) mal a ls überraschend melodischer Akustikpop inklusive waldigem Blechbläsersol o (Jaki’s Love Time) und immer wieder in der Verwebung fein gearbeiteter rhythmischer Wiederholungen mit klanglichen Experimenten. Die Objects\, B eings and Parrots bilden in diesem Strom vage Bilder\, Orientierungs- und Haltepunkte\, einerseits als wiedererkennbare Elemente aus Pop- und Kunstg eschichte\, andererseits so flüchtig und abstrakt wie der gleichnamige Tr ack. \n\nHörbar ist die entschleunigte Entstehungszeit des Albums: Nach e iner längeren Schreibphase wurden die Stücke im MARS-Studio in der Abges chiedenheit der Eifel in mehreren Sessions aufgenommen.
